چکیده

Pioneering efforts well studied the deformation decomposition of single earthquake using a pair ascending (ASC) and descending (DES) track InSAR data. However, sequent events is rarely discussed hard to implement. That's because it's ensure deformations related each can be recorded by ASC DES Three earthquakes (Mw>5.5) just hit Central Greece in March 2021, this sequence provides us with perfect case study 2D (East-West Up-Down) when mentioned premise cannot satisfied. In context, we proposed Multi-track Multi-temporal (MTMT2D) method. Its novelty behind rationale are decompose event through fusing multi-track multi-temporal interferograms. Based on decomposed deformations, invert slip distribution three respectively. We found that better constrain fault geometry than interferogram. Furthermore, our geodetic inversion results also suggest domino-like triggering rupture process for sequence. It indicates MTMT2D method potentially reveal more details about

Deformation Trend Extraction Based on Multi-Temporal InSAR in Shanghai

Shanghai is a modern metropolis characterized by high urban density and anthropogenic ground motions. Although traditional deformation monitoring methods, such as GPS and spirit leveling, are reliable to millimeter accuracy, the sparse point subsidence information makes understanding large areas difficult. Multiple temporal space-borne synthetic aperture radar interferometry is a powerful high-...

Source Parameters of the 2016-2017 Central Italy Earthquake Sequence from the Sentinel-1, ALOS-2 and GPS Data

In this study, joint inversions of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Global Position System (GPS) measurements are used to investigate the source parameters of four Mw > 5 events of the 2016–2017 Central Italy earthquake sequence. The results show that the four events are all associated with a normal fault striking northwest–southeast and dipping southwest. The observations, in all cases, are ...

Geodetic network design for InSAR: Application to ground deformation monitoring

We propose a novel geodetic network design method for InSAR that determines the minimum number and optimal locations of in situ devices for monitoring a deforming area within desired quality constraints (precision, reliability, economy). From field experiments, the use of low-cost active radar transponders has been validated, and their measurement precision estimated. The proposed design algori...

A Hierarchical Multi-Temporal InSAR Method for Increasing the Spatial Density of Deformation Measurements

Point-like targets are useful in providing surface deformation with the time series of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images using the multi-temporal interferometric synthetic aperture radar (MTInSAR) methodology. However, the spatial density of point-like targets is low, especially in non-urban areas. In this paper, a hierarchical MTInSAR method is proposed to increase the spatial density of d...

Space geodetic observations and models of postseismic deformation due to the 2005M7.6 Kashmir (Pakistan) earthquake

We use the L-band Advanced Land Observing Satellite (ALOS) and C-band Envisat interferometric synthetic aperture data and campaign GPS observations to study the postseismic deformation due to the 2005 magnitude 7.6 Kashmir (Pakistan) earthquake that occurred in the northwestern Himalaya. Envisat data are available from both the descending and ascending orbits and span a time period of~4.5 years...
